Trail-4 and Dhoke Jivan loop Islamabad
Trail-4 is a recently inaugurated trail in Margalla mountains. As of now not much people are aware of this trail. This is because one it’s comparatively the newest trail and secondly it’s hidden and sidelined as its trailhead is about two kilometres away from the main margalla road. Another reason for its obscurity is that it’s not enjoying the presence of various security agencies like Trail 3 &5. Hence people feel them less secure on this trail. Dhoke Jeevan Loop is a twin sister of this trail and can be done from the same trailhead. At the parking a nice restaurant with the name of wild mild cafe is available. The upper end joins to Margalla Ridge Trail. You can either descend back the same trail or you can loop and descend through other trails. Your elevation gain by doing this trail is about 600 meters.
